Banc de Recursos (Resources Bank) is a non-lucrative entity which collects surplus materials from companies and individuals, and submits them to countries and collectives in need (Third and Fourth Worlds).

Even though our main goal is redistributing the existing resources in a more fair manner, we also aim to reinforce the solidarity nets (volunteers, non-governmental organisations, North-South connection, mutual information...) and make the citizens aware of the necessity of a more rational and responsible use of the material goods (based on non-consumerism, non-destruction, and non-waste).

These are the resources we are interested in:

  • Computer equipment (computers with a Pentium IV or superior processor, printers, scanners...)
  • Medical and surgery material (diagnosis sets, operating theatre, instruments, optical material...)
  • Agriculture machinery (tractors, pumps...)
  • Sawing-machines (domestic and industrial)
  • Craft-school machines (mechanics, carpentry, electricity...)
  • Civil engineering machinery (diggers, caterpillar tractors...)
  • Scholastic, sanitary and educative expendable equipment

Instead, we do not get in charge of old computers, wrecked machines, old or too large medical apparatus (such as column-like X-rays machines, or which cannot produce radiology plates), tailored orthopaedic pieces, books, domestic appliance, furniture, medicine, used clothes or food. What Banc de Recursos may do is addressing the donors to other entities.

We get financial support from our associates, donors' contribution and aids from public and private entities (subventions, sponsorship...).
